  • Helping a new neighbor.

Someone posted in a community FB group they recently moved to town and that they needed a ride to run some errands because their car broke down the day before.

So we gave Gael and his mom a ride. While they were inside the store a dear Do Gooder randomly texted that she had an Uber gift card and did we know anyone who could use it? So we connected with them again to give them the gift card and Gael mentioned he really wanted a bike so he could ride to school and learn his new community.

The power of Doing Good came together in less than 24 hours and our friend Sam was able to pass their old bike on to Gael. This is what community looks like!!!

  • A Do Good Garage Sale

Thank you so so so so much for your love, support, donations, volunteering and general garage sale good vibes.

We raised a lot, but never enough money for our friend.

Due to circumstances beyond her control, a dear friend of the Do Good Crew is being forced to move from her home. It's always scary to have to move, but imagine unexpectedly, while being disabled and not financially secure. We did what we do best and came together as a community for her.

We had a mental goal of how much money we could raise at the garage sale. In the final moments literally final moments of the sale, we were about $100 short of our silent mental goal, and then a friend stopped by for one last look and found something they needed for $100.

The Power of Community is a beautiful thing !

  • No Mow Paradise

A few weeks ago we helped a friend turn his yard into a no mow low maintenance paradise. His yard is on a busy street and nothing grows except weeds. With the help of a few friends we ripped out all the weeds, laid down cardboard as a weed barrier , then a zillion bags of mulch, some large river rocks to edge and recreated a walkway from the driveway to the house. We are so pleased with the final results.
